GOOD HAIR, GOOD MOOD, GOOD DAY!
I have long hair down to my lower back and, while I love it, it is definitely difficult to manage at times. At this point, my arms should be so toned with all the brushing and blow drying I’ve done throughout my life time. Sadly, they are not! LOL. I have been cleaning and re-organizing my bathroom and I realized that, while I may toss many beauty items in the name of re-organization and decluttering, these hair accessories do not and will never fall into the “I don’t want” category.
I have a lot of hair accessories that I love and use. I love a mix of cute, practical, and downright extra accessories. Sometimes, I can’t resist a cute over-priced headband. I try to, but I’m not always successful. If you’re like me and you have long unmanageable hair, you might find these to be helpful.
There’s a wide range in price and importance here. Most of these products don’t need a long explanation. I just like them because they make me happy and look cute. Only the performance-driven products will be accompanied by explanations. I’ve segmented the products into 3 categories – r & r accessories, everyday accessories, and pre & post shower accessories. The pre/post shower section is for when you’re cleaning your face, applying skincare, or just got out of the shower with wet hair. Happy reading!

HAIR ACCESSORIES FOR SLEEP
There’s something to be said about the impact that silk has on your hair. As someone with hair that tangles and knots easily, I’m looking for whatever help I can get in this department. I often wake up with knotted hair even if I’ve taken the time to dry and brush it out the night prior. These products lessen the burden of spending several minutes in the morning brushing out tangles, which with my hair, can be painful and frustrating.
- Slip Silk Sleep Mask: If you’re going to have one on all night, why not make it silk, a material that helps keep frizz at bay?
- Slip Silk Turban: This is perhaps what’s made the biggest impact on me when it comes to waking up with less tangles in my hair.
- Slip Silk Pillow Case: Not only do I love this for my hair, I love the way it feels on my face. It’s pricey, but in my opinion, worth it. I use mine every night and I even got one for my boyfriend.
- Slip Silk Classic Large Scrunchie: For during the day or around the house, I prefer these. They’re not my go to when I need to leave the house or workout though.
